Salisbury Scrapheap Challenge

This is the first time The Learning Tree team has brought Family Learning to Salisbury.  Families from St. Martin's and Woodlands primary schools enjoyed the experience of learning together.  Families took risks, solved problems and made mistakes to achieve the ultimate racing machine.

Based on the idea of cotton-reel tanks, families built rubber band powered tanks from kits of scrap materials and then decorated them to their own design.

Families enjoyed competing with each other to find whose tank accurately hit the target.
